This is the second time Athletic Republic IE has had a TV network come out, the first was KCAL 9 a few years ago and we are proud to say we are the only training center to have two TV Networks do a featured story on our facility and training. The story will begin to air Friday September 9th and will air through the week on Fox Sports West, Fox Sports Prime Ticket, and Channel 13 KCOP. It will be shown after sporting events and on Postgame shows.
Yesterday the staff at Athletic Republic Inland Empire held an open house for the entire San Gabriel Valley Arsenal baseball program. There was a great turnout of baseball players as they prepare for the fall schedule with the SGV Arsenal. Each player was able to experience a little bit of everything at our facility including our Super Tredmill, Plyo Platform, Plyo Press, they were all able to hit on our ProBatter and use the Nike Vapor Strobes. We also held a drawing and 3 players got a free Nike SST vision assesment. Athletic Republic is pleased to work with the SGV Arsenal and have had many elite players from the program including recently drafted Ricky Oropesa. We look forward to many more years of training Arsenal players. Athlete UP!
Athletic Republic IE would like to wish our college football athletes the best of luck as they begin to start camp this week. Many college football players worked extremely hard this summer to improve their skills and Unlevel The Playing Field. Here are just a few of our athletes that are expected to make a huge impact for their teams this upcoming season.

Dallas Kelley
USC, Junior
Linebacker

Kelley will compete to get into the linebacker playing rotation as a junior in 2011 after transferring to USC from Chaffey Junior College. Dallas has been training with us since he was a Junior at Norco High School and in his time with Athletic Republic IE he has seen dramatic decreases in his 40 yard dash and his power. We are very proud of Dallas for all of his hard work and look forward to watching him this year.

Anthony Brown
USC, Redshirt Freshman
Cornerback

Brown will battle for playing time at cornerback as a redshirt freshman in 2011. Anthony began to train with us during his Junior year at Kaiser High School and saw his 40 yard dash drop to a 4.75 after running a 4.99 when he started. While at Kaiser Anthony's awards included Prep Star All-American, Super Prep All-Farwest, Prep Star All-West, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Max Preps All-State Division I first team, Cal-Hi Sports All-State third team, All-CIF Eastern Division first team, Riverside Press-Enterprise All-Riverside second team and Inland Valley Daily Bulletin All-Inland Valley MVP.

Richard Brehaut
UCLA, Junior
Quarterback

Richard will compete for the starting quarterback spot this Fall after coming on to start the final six contests of the 2010 season. Brehaut began to train with us when he was a Sophomore at Los Osos High School. During the first session with us he was able to drop 2 tenths (0.2) off of his 40 yard dash and has dropped more time since. A highly regarded recruit out of high school, Richard was an Under Armour All American. He also began to train with Athletic Republic when he decided to play baseball at UCLA this past spring along with football.

Josh Shirley
Washington, Redshirt Freshman
Defensive End

Josh will be starting at a created position made for him called "rusher" this season at Washington. Prior to training with us before his junior year at Kaiser High School Josh ran a 40 yard dash laser time of 4.86 and afterwards was running a 4.53. Shirley was named the Defensive MVP of the Sunkist League and co-Defensive Player of the Year of the CIF Southern Section Eastern Division during his time at Kaiser. We are looking froward to seeing Josh use his speed and size this season.

Ifo Ekpre-Olomu
Oregon, Freshman
Cornerback

Ifo will be starting at cornerback as a true freshman for the Ducks. After several training sessions with us for threee years through Chino Hills High School, Ifo was able to drop his 40 yard dash to an outstanding 4.38 laser time. He was named All-CIF his senior year and we are looking forward to him playing for Oregon as they try to defend thier PAC 12 title. Read more on Ifo in our Athlete Spotlight.

Tony Washington
Oregon, Redshirt Freshman
Defensive End

Tony began training with us while at Los Osos High School. In addition to the drop in time just as our other athletes, tony also raised his vertical leap to 27 inches which was fourth among Oregon defenders. While at Los Osos Tony was named San Bernardino Prep Sports All-Baseline Defensive MVP, All CIF, and All Baseline League First team. Congratulations to Tony as he continues to excel while doing Athletic Republic sessions.

We wish these athletes and our other football players as they begin their camps to start the season. Other schools to which our athletes go are, Fresno State, Nebraska, San Jose State, Arizona State, Stanford, Northwestern, and San Diego State among others. We have many at Division 2, Division 3, and NAIA schools as well. We look forward to seeing all our athletes excel and remember to Athlete UP!
